Radio Astronomers Gain Protection from Interference

June 27, 2000   Astronomers have been given crucial protection for their science by the World Radiocommunication Conference. This action will reserve certain key portions of the ultra high frequency radio spectrum for radio astronomers -- thus making it possible for radio astronomers to more easily use those frequencies.
