US to Send One or Two
Athena-class July 27, 2000 NASA has announced that it intends to send one or possibly even two Athena-class rovers to Mars. The rover or rovers can travel up to 100 meters each day and will be able to do sophisticated tasks, such as detailed analysis of Martian rocks.
