Reveals that Titan August 7, 2000 Using the 3.6 meter Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope in Hawaii, astronomers have captured an image of Titan that supports earlier observations of a possible continent on its surface. The possible continent appears as a bright area near the moon's equator. Titan will be under close scrutiny when the Huygens spacecraft arrives there in 2004.
